Monitoring, optimizing and managing of UNIX/Linux OS, application performance.

Perform application upgrades, patches, be able to identify and troubleshoot bugs that involved Tuxedo, Tomcat, Apache, Postfix, sqlm
Experience managing servers in an enterprise environment.

Strong experience in System Administration,OS troubleshooting, Configuration, Backup, Security, Disaster Recovery, and Performance Monitoring.
Experience with Redhat Cluster as well as Veritas Cluster Server Support desired.
Experience Using SAN/NAS storage, LVM or VXVM
Complete shell scripting sh, csh, ksh and bash.
Experience with cloud infrastructure, OCI required, AWS good to have
Experience in setting up and configuring network in cloud environment and connecting to on premise
OS User administration, OS Server administration, install and patching OS
Required to work on shifts supporting client, any shift 24*7

Responsibilities: Linux/UNIX system administratorto perform daily support tasks as part of the client team. Duties include 24×7 event/incident support; over the ssh or remote system.
